One of the authors of the recently published study “Analysis of intraocular lens packaging weight and waste,” which highlighted the differences between packaging waste of various IOLs and their paper or e-IFUs, discussed the study and the disparities in packaging across different IOL models, identifying key opportunities for reducing waste.
EyeWorld connected with Roger Zaldivar, MD, MSc, MBA, to speak about the topic of patient-reported outcome measures in general, as well as a relatively new digital health ecosystem he’s created to provide real-world, big data insights on patient experiences with different IOLs and refractive procedures.
