The ASCRS Master Class in Refractive Surgery, 20/Happy in 2020, will be available for purchase as a nine-module digital set eligible for 18 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Recordings will also remain available through the year for attendees who registered for the live program.
ASCRS announced that the 2021 Annual Meeting will be held July 23–27 in Las Vegas, Nevada, moving from the previous location of San Francisco, California. The move to Las Vegas allows ASCRS to have its first meeting in 800+ days in as safe a meeting venue as can be reasonably organized.
ASCRS relies partially on unrestricted educational grant support to bring both live and online CME programs to its membership. Here we explain the grant writing process and how important the ASCRS and industry relationship is to continuing education.
ASCRS began its Grand Rounds in October 2020 as a monthly CME opportunity for members. The Grand Rounds are hosted in partnership with major academic institutions and feature two challenging cases with panel discussions.
