ASCRS Refractive Day

Sponsored by the ASCRS Refractive Surgery Clinical Committee, this program will highlight topics across refractive surgery, including preop evaluation, new technology, refractive corneal surgery, and refractive cataract surgery. The Steinert Refractive Lecture will be presented.
ASCRS Glaucoma Day
8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Location: Mandalay Bay E
This is sponsored by the ASCRS Glaucoma Clinical Committee and will include presentations on topics in glaucoma—technology, surgical procedures, complications, and more. The 2021 Stephen A. Obstbaum, MD, Honored Lecture will be presented, and this year it will feature a panel of past ASCRS glaucoma leadership.”
ASCRS Cornea Day
8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Location: Oceanside BCD
Sponsored by the ASCRS Corneal Clinical Committee, this will include presentations on a variety of cornea topics. Sessions will highlight challenging cornea cases, anterior/posterior lamellar topics, the ocular surface, and different perspectives moving forward.

This session will feature Karyn Buxman, RN, MS, CSP, CPAE, presenting “Lead with Levity.”

The Opening General Session will feature addresses from leadership, recognition of the Honored Guests and Hall of Fame inductees, and the presentation of this year’s Binkhorst Lecture, given by Richard Lewis, MD.

This session will begin with a presentation by Scott Gottlieb, MD, former commissioner of the FDA. The session will also include the new Richard L. Lindstrom, MD, Lecture, in honor of Dr. Lindstrom and his contributions to ophthalmology. The inaugural lecture will be given by Edward Holland, MD.
