ASCRS News: Annual Meeting Preview

The ASCRS Tap Room is a whole new way to engage in the Exhibit Hall of the 2021 ASCRS Annual Meeting.
The Tap Room will be a bar-like venue where attendees can meet up for a casual drink (a signature drink will be available daily), snack, and discussion. During lunch (12:00 p.m.) and happy hour (4:00 p.m.), the Tap Room will feature a schedule of educational industry presentations.
Attendees interested in industry education can scan a QR code with their phone and select the company presentation they want to listen to on their own headphones. Seating will be available in each session as well. Preregistration for industry education, which will be hosted by companies like Kala Pharmaceuticals, Santen Pharmaceutical, Sight Sciences, Allergan, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, and Ocular Therapeutix, will be available to reserve a seat because space is limited.
Special events in the ASCRS Tap Room include two live episodes of the Ophthalmology Quicksand Chronicles podcast, with hosts Nicole Fram, MD, and Elizabeth Yeu, MD, and the opportunity to catch some of the Summer
Olympic Games.
