Eyecelerator @ ASCRS
8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Eyecelerator will take place at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina and promises an exciting day of programming that focuses on innovation in anterior segment surgery. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and hear from many innovative companies.



Friday, May 5
ASCRS Subspecialty Day
8:00 a.m.–3:45 p.m.
Programming for ASCRS Subspecialty Day will cover a variety of topics in refractive, cornea, and glaucoma. New this year is Digital Day, which is sponsored by the Digital Ophthalmic Society and open to all registrants of ASCRS Subspecialty Day.
ASOA Leadership Day
1:30–5:00 p.m.
ASOA Leadership Day will feature Betsy Allen Manning and include an interactive presentation that will provide a blueprint for becoming a more effective leader in today’s marketplace.
YES Skills Labs
Throughout the day will be YES Skills Labs focusing on phaco, anterior segment surgery, DALK, and DMEK/DSAEK.
ASCRS Main Stage
4:15–5:30 p.m. (Reception at 3:45 p.m.)
The traditional Opening General Session has moved to Friday. This kickoff of the ASCRS Annual Meeting will feature discussions with the outgoing and incoming presidents, the presentation of the ASCRS Foundation Chang-Crandall Humanitarian Award, the presentation of the ASCRS Educator Award, and recognition of this year’s inductees into the ASCRS Hall of Fame.
eyePAC Reception
5:30–7:30 p.m.
This year, the annual eyePAC Reception will be held at the San Diego Air and Space Museum. Open to those who have contributed at a certain level to eyePAC, attendees can enjoy food and beverages and see the many exciting features that the museum has to offer.
ASCRS ASOA Party for a Purpose
8:00 p.m.–midnight
Attendees can enjoy a night of fun and philanthropy at this event, with donations benefiting the ASCRS Foundation. It will be held at NOVA SD. ASCRS, ASOA, and industry attendees, as well as their guests, are welcome. The event will feature teams of “Celebrity Spin Masters” who will entertain and compete for donations.



Saturday, May 6
ASCRS Exhibit Hall
8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
The ASCRS Exhibit Hall will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Attendees can browse the many booths and visit the ASCRS Tap Room.
ASOA Saturday General Session
8:30–10:00 a.m.
During the ASOA Opening General Session, Colette Carlson will present “YOU Management: Strategies to Avoid Burnout, Boost Resilience, and Accelerate Success.”
ASCRS Main Stage
10:00–11:30 a.m.
Saturday’s programming on the Main Stage will feature the Binkhorst Lecture by Eric Donnenfeld, MD. Guest speaker Dan Lerner, a professor at New York University, will also be featured.
Lunch in the Exhibit Hall
11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Complimentary lunch will be served in the Exhibit Hall, giving attendees the chance to mingle with others and network with exhibitors. All attendees are invited.
ASCRS Main Stage
3:30–5:00 p.m.
Saturday afternoon programming on the Main Stage will feature the exciting “X-Rounds: Refractive Cataract Surgery to the Max,” which will cover the latest and greatest in refractive cataract surgery.



Sunday, May 7
ASCRS Main Stage
10:00–11:30 a.m.
The Lindstrom Symposium will include this year’s Lindstrom Lecture from Marlene Moster, MD. Other presentations will cover cataract, refractive, and cornea topics. Shawn DuBravac will also be featured as a guest speaker.
Lunch in the Exhibit Hall
11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
Complimentary lunch will be served in the Exhibit Hall, giving attendees the chance to mingle with others and network with exhibitors. All attendees are invited.
ASCRS Main Stage
1:30–3:00 p.m.
“TOPGUN: Phaco Mavericks” will feature 12 international instructors sharing their best and most essential pearls that have helped each of them become a leading surgeon.
ASCRS Film Festival
5:15–7:00 p.m.
The ASCRS Film Festival moves to a new night, giving attendees the opportunity to see who will take home this year’s top prizes.



Monday, May 8
ASCRS Main Stage
8:00–9:30 a.m.
This year’s Charles D. Kelman, MD, Innovator’s Lecture will be given by William Link, PhD. Others featured in the session will share presentations on a number of innovative topics.
ASOA Monday General Session
8:30–10:00 a.m.
ASOA’s Monday General Session will focus on “Tactical Takeaways.” Leslie Riley will help attendees reset their understanding of how to set goals in this hands-on session.
ASCRS Main Stage
3:30–5:00 p.m.
The Best of ASCRS session will highlight some of the most important and interesting papers presented at the meeting from among the Best Paper of Session winners.
