Beauty Bar
1444 West Chicago Avenue
This chain of nightclubs is known for its retro atmosphere. Set to look like a 1960s beauty salon, Beauty Bar opened in Chicago in 2010. Visitors can stop by for manicures and martinis and enjoy some of the bar’s signature cocktails.

Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar
2519 North Halsted Street
This is an intimate venue that features mostly local talent. It’s set up so that all seats put you close to the action. Chicago B.L.U.E.S. Bar fills up quickly on the weekends and has been voted as one of the top blues clubs in the city.

Coq d’Or
140 East Walton Place
This classy lounge, which is famous for its martinis, is located on the first floor of the Drake Hotel. Coq d’Or opened one day after the repeal of Prohibition in 1933 and remains a popular spot for locals and visitors. Live music is performed on the weekend at its piano bar.

Drop Lounge
1909 North Lincoln Avenue
This lounge, located in Lincoln Park, features music from local artists and DJs. The underground lounge is open daily. It serves “drop shots,” cocktails, and beer, and has bottle service.

Green Mill
4802 North Broadway Street
The Green Mill is a dark, sultry jazz bar with gangster roots. The club has been a Chicago staple for years and remains one to this day.

House of Blues Chicago
329 North Dearborn Street
This popular rock and blues chain features live music as well as a restaurant and bar. There are shows each night, so check the website for a complete schedule.

Laschet’s Inn
2119 West Irving Park Road
If you’re a German beer fan, this is the bar for you. Laschet’s Inn was originally opened in 1971 and serves up authentic German comfort food like goulash, beef stroganoff, and bratwurst in a casual atmosphere.

M Lounge
1520 South Wabash Avenue
This martini lounge provides a uniquely lit atmosphere and has a variety of live music depending on the day. The drink menu includes a range of martinis and other cocktails, as well as beer and wine.

The Rec Room
18 West Hubbard Street
This dance club opens on Friday and Saturday nights at 9:00 p.m., with rotating DJs. The drink list features a variety of beer, cocktails, shots, and more.

ROOF on theWit
201 North State Street
This bar is located on the 27th floor of theWit hotel. It has impressive views of Chicago and live music. It has both an indoor and outdoor space that can be visited all year round.

Studio Paris
59 West Hubbard Street
Studio Paris combines a lounge and nightclub atmosphere into a unique experience. It showcases electronic and dance music and features a variety of artists as well as popular DJs.
